We first saw Bridget in a documentary about Uganda, and we were immediately captivated by how she expressed herself and the big dreams she carried. Considering her young age and the fact that she was living in a rural village with her mother and five brothers after losing her father, we saw that she was at risk. That’s when we decided to bring her into our family. She exceeded even our wildest expectations! Bridget didn’t need time to adjust - she jumped in with full force, embraced every opportunity, and showed us all what success truly looks like.

She dreams of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon, determined to save lives and make a difference in the medical world. With her sharp mind, infectious laughter, and a work ethic that could put most adults to shame, we’re convinced she’ll be cracking open chests and fixing hearts in no time!
